Ad Agency Arnold to Move Into Boston Ex-GE HQ
Arnold Worldwide and sister company Havas Media are set to lease most of General Electric’s former global headquarters in Fort Point, Boston., Boston Business Journal reported.
The advertising agencies are taking 70,000 square feet of office space at 5 Necco St., downsizing from about 125,000 square feet at 10 Summer St. in Downtown Crossing. The relocation is expected to occur in late 2024. The building was part of GE’s planned headquarters after moving to Boston in 2016 but was later sold to Alexandria Real Estate Equities and National Development for $252 million in 2019.
“With our current lease coming to an end, we saw an opportunity to identify a new home for our Boston Village to best meet our business needs,” said Hendrickx, Arnold’s senior vice president of growth and communications.
