Actors Federal Credit Union Expands Lease in Times Square

Actors Federal Credit Union has extended a 10-year lease at 1560 Broadway in Times Square. The credit union, existing in the building since 1991, will expand its space from 9,130 to 10,717 square feet on the fifth floor by early 2024.

Built in 1925, the historic 17-story, 271,000-square-foot building underwent major redevelopment in 2014. Alan Steinberg of GFP Real Estate represented the landlord, 1560 Broadway Company LLC, in the transaction; Joseph Harkins of Cushman & Wakefield represented the tenant, Actors Federal Credit Union.

“Actors Federal Credit Union had needed additional space and fortunately, we were able to accommodate them on the same floor—a win-win for both the tenant and ownership,” said Steinberg.
