Acreage Acquired for $27M Age-Restricted Community

Minto Communities struck a deal with Consolidated-Tomoka Land Co. to acquire 1,581 acres in Daytona Beach, FL for approximately $27.2 million. Minto will use the land, near Interstate 95 and LGPA Boulevard, to develop its 3,400-unit, age-restricted residential community, Oasis Daytona.

“We’re very pleased to finally close the Minto Sale, nearly three years after we executed the contract, and we look forward to the commencement of Minto’s 3,400-unit Oasis project, an age-restricted residential community that we expect will provide both a strong economic engine for our area, as well as an opportunity to grow membership at our LPGA International Golf Club,” said Consolidated-Tomoka’s president and CEO, John P. Albright.

Construction is already underway on a sales center, which will open by early fall.
