ACORE Capital Adds Managing Director to Focus on Insurance Industry

Andrew Terry, former head of insurance at Schroders, has joined commercial real estate debt manager ACORE Capital, LP as a managing director. He will focus on expanding ACORE’s relationships across the insurance industry.

“Andrew is a unique talent with deep relationships throughout the insurance industry,” said Warren de Haan, CEO of San Francisco-based ACORE. “He brings a great track record and intimate understanding of how commercial real estate debt investment strategies provide solutions for insurance companies. We are fortunate to have Andrew on our team, as he will strengthen our position as one of the largest commercial real estate debt managers to U.S. insurance companies.”

During his eight-year tenure at Schroders, Terry was responsible for growing a multi-billion insurance business and CRE debt platform. He accomplished this by developing an enhanced value proposition to meet the evolving needs of insurers, launching new products and solutions and diversifying the firm’s client base.
