Accesso Executes Lease With Smith Seckman Reid at Ashford in Houston

Accesso, an investment manager and operator of multi-tenant office and multifamily assets based in Hallandale Beach, FL, today announced it has executed a 21,000-square-foot lease with leading engineering and consulting firm Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. (“SSR”) at Ashford, a three-building, 570,052-square-foot office complex in Houston.

SSR will be located on the sixth floor of Ashford 7 and house 100 employees. The lease carries a term of seven years, with SSR expected to move in later this year. A transaction amount was not disclosed.

Ashford is a Class A office park situated in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor submarket. Accesso recently completed lobby renovations at the asset, which added high-end finishes and seating throughout. In addition to SSR, the property is home to numerous first-class tenants including Cameron, a Schlumberger company, Blair Inman & Co., Lee Hecht Harrison, Ocean Installer Texas Inc. and The Mendel Law Firm, L.P.

Robert LaCoure, Jill Nesloney, Chris Lewis and Bryce Adams of Lee & Associates – Houston brokered the transaction on behalf of Accesso, while Andrew Blaustein and Lispah Hogan of Newmark represented SSR.

Erik Hamilton, who has more than 15 years in CRE journalism, is a former staff writer with the Los Angeles Times and the Orange County Business Journal.
