New San Francisco Financial District Hotel Tower Proposed

A new 22-story hotel is in the planning stages for San Francisco’s Financial District.

Located at 439 Washington Street, between Battery and Sansome streets, the hotel will have 189 rooms, include 90,000 square feet of hotel space, and 4,500 square feet of ground-floor retail.

Peninsular Realty LLC will build the San Francisco Financial District hotel, with Stanton Architecture serving as the architect.

The current site houses a two-story retail and office structure, built in 1907. That structure would be demolished to make way for the new development.
