99 Ranch Market Set to Open Portland Location

Grocery chain 99 Ranch Market, whose parent company is Buena Park, California-based Tawa Supermarket Inc., will open its second Oregon location later this month.

The Asian grocery store is opening its 65th location at 10544 S.E. Washington Street in a space formerly occupied by OfficeMax and Big Lots, reported the Portland Business Journal. The new store will be the company’s first Portland location. The company opened its first Oregon location in Beaverton, occupying 40,000 square feet at 8155 SW Hall Boulevard in 2017.

99 Ranch Market is known for its wide selection of Asian groceries and products. It was founded in 1984 and the chain has more than 60 locations across 11 states. Global lifestyle retailer Miniso will also open inside the grocery store and a Hong Kong-style dim sum cafe will open later this year.
