99 Park Ave. Signs Largest Office Tenant to Date

Amalgamated Bank has signed a 94,045-square-foot, 15-year deal at 99 Park Ave., a 26-story, Class A office tower in Manhattan’s Midtown East neighborhood. It’s the largest deal to date at 99 Park for owner Global Holdings, which acquired the property in 1990, and brings the tower to 98% leased.

The union-owned bank will relocate from 275 Seventh Ave. to 99 Park, currently undergoing a $30-million capital improvement program. Amalgamated will occupy part of the ground floor and the entire second, third and fifth floors.

“As our capital improvement program continues to progress, we’re committed to meeting the demand of best-in-class tenants and to elevating the standard of working on prestigious Park Avenue in New York City,” said Craig Panzirer, SVP / director of leasing, Global Holdings.

Daoud Awad and Chris Kraus from JLL represented Amalgamated Bank. Global Holdings was represented by Panzirer and Alex Radmin in-house, and by JLL’s Paul Glickman, Diana Biasotti, Kristen Morgan and Harrison Potter.
