973K-SF Office Getting a Face Lift

Nightingale Properties is spending more than $4 million to renovate 80 Park Plaza in Newark, NJ. The 26-story, 973,000-square-foot building currently has 165,000 square feet available for lease on floors 21 through 25.

“Nightingale Properties is an incredibly entrepreneurial firm that is committed to creating a state-of-the-art facility, which will attract a world-class company to occupy the tower floors”, said Ben Brenner, senior director with Cushman & Wakefield, which is handling the lease assignment.

Nightingale recently purchased the property located next to Newark’s Military Park. Whole Foods opened a new store as the anchor of a redeveloped Hahne and Co. building nearby. Starbucks, Nike and Chipotle also opened stores in the area, where more than 1,500 residential units are either planned or under construction, as are several new hotels.
