90K-SF Entertainment Complex in the Works

Cinergy Entertainment Group Inc. is planning to build an entertainment complex at Resaca Market in Edinburg, TX. The 90,000-square-foot, $29-million project will include 10 auditoriums, 18 lanes of upscale bowling, escape rooms, two full-service bars and a game floor with more than 110 interactive games.

Also included will be Cinergy’s large-format auditorium, entitled EPIC – Experience Perfection in Cinema. The auditoriums with the technology offer 64’ x 35’ silver screens, Dolby Atmos sound systems, 4K projection systems and electric leather reclining seating.

Resaca Market is a 501,000-square-foot retail and entertainment complex at Interstate 69/U.S. 281 and East Monte Cristo Road. The complex is part of the 586-acre La Sienna master-planned community. The move is Cinergy’s first into the Rio Grande Valley.
