$8B Hedge Fund Startup Doubles Park Ave. Space

Hedge fund startup ExodusPoint Capital, which had $8 billion in capital at the time of its June launch, is doing what fast-growing companies do: doubling its office footprint. The company has signed on for the 17,832-square-foot 10th floor of EQ Office’s Park Avenue Tower, having occupied the ninth floor since last March. It now occupies 35,710 square feet.

EQ Office recently completed a major repositioning of Park Avenue Tower. Since concluding the renovation program, the landlord has secured 249,000 square feet of new leases.

“Park Avenue Tower has become the preferred destination for the city’s most cutting-edge and sophisticated companies,” said Scott Silverstein, leasing manager at EQ.

EQ was represented in-house by Silverstein and Simon Wasserberger, and by NKF’s Brian Waterman, Jared Horowitz, Ben Shapiro, Brent Ozarowski and Lance Korman. ExodusPoint was represented by an NKF team of Neil Goldmacher, Brian Goldman and Matthew Lorberbaum.
