88% of Angelenos Support The Torch

A new poll conducted by Loyola Marymount University indicates that 88-percent of those surveyed support the city hosting the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The survey received data from 2,425 respondents in 20-minute phone interviews, regarding quality-of-life perceptions, economic concerns, various civic issues and more.

Los Angeles hosted the Olympics in 1932 and 1984, and Mayor Eric Garcetti says, “Hosting a new Games for a new era doesn’t just fit the bricks and mortar of our city, it fits our citizens’ relentless spirit of reinvention.”
