84 Acres Sells, Has Potential MXU Future

Omega III Investment Co. sold 84 acres in Katy, TX to buyer Katy Village LP. The tract on the far west side of the Houston MSA, could be the site of a future mixed-use development, which might include hotel, restaurant and retail space. According to buyer representative Vincent Giammalva with Giammalva Properties Inc., the new land owner is in the planning stages of what will go north on the site.

Bill Byrd and Barkley Peschel with Colliers International represented the Houston-based seller in the transaction. The land is at Interstate 10 and Pin Oak Road, across from Katy Mills Mall. Other nearby landmarks include the Katy Boardwalk District, Typhoon Texas waterpark and the University of Houston.
