77 Water St. Lands Two More Tenants in Leasing Campaign
In two separate transactions, the William Kaufman Organization (WKO) and Principal Real Estate Investors have secured two leases totaling 28,539 square feet at their 77 Water St. office property in Lower Manhattan.
Nonprofit social services organization The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty (MET Council) signed a 21,692-square-foot direct lease. Software development firm Caissa LLC committed to 6,847 square feet, becoming the first tenant to lease a portion of the property’s newly-constructed pre-built units.
“Since launching our new leasing campaign earlier this year, 77 Water St. has been very well-received by a wide range of different companies,” said Michael Lenchner, VP and director of leasing at Sage Realty Corporation, the leasing and management division of WKO.
Lenchner, and a CBRE agency team of Jonathan Cope, Adam R. Leshowitz and Nate Katz, represented building ownership. SL Green’s Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen represented Caissa. There was no outside broker for MET Council.
