77 Units Trade in Rare Bulk Condo Sale Outside Manhattan

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the bulk condominium sale of The Cambium, an upscale condo project in the Village of Larchmont in Westchester County, north of New York City. The remaining 70 unsold units were purchased by the private equity division of an international financial institution. Deal terms were not disclosed.

Noting that bulk condo sales are rare outside Manhattan, Cushman & Wakefield’s Kevin Donner said the offering of 77 units at The Cambium spurred “robust interest” from institutional and private investors. “When investors seek acquisitions in the New York metro area, markets with the most convenient public transit options are consistently at the top of their list,” he said.

Donner was a member of the Cushman & Wakefield team representing the seller, a privately held development partnership. The team also included Adam Spies, Andrew Merin, David Bernhaut, Gary Gabriel, Brian Whitmer and Ryan Dowd.
