Amazon Opens Sixth Fulfillment Center in IE

Earlier this month, Amazon opened its sixth fulfillment center in California.

The center, located in Rialto, will become fully operational early next year and will mostly focus on delivering large scale items like appliances and TVs. For now, it will contribute to the employment of hundreds of locals while serving as a warehouse for surrounding fulfillment centers.

Amazon is heavily invested in the Inland Empire when it comes to its logistics. Economists agree that the close proximity to both the Los Angeles and Long Beach port coupled with the low rent costs make the region highly beneficial for a company’s infrastructure.
