7-Eleven Retail Space in DT Chicago JW Marriott Sells for $3.5M

Marcus & Millichap closed the sale of a 2,700-square-foot net-leased property located in Chicago. The asset, a 7-Eleven retail space located at 191 W. Adams Street on the ground floor of the JW Marriott Hotel, sold for $3.5 million, reported the Chicago Business Journal. Nicholas Kanich had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a Chicago-based investor. The buyer was also secured and represented by Nicholas Kanich.

“The future of the Loop looks bright. With some of the buildings trading hands like the office building at 30 N. LaSalle and more people coming downtown, I expect things to continue to improve over the next six to 18 months,” Kanich told the Journal. The JW Marriott Hotel recently underwent a $396 million restoration, and the 7-Eleven property is located near Google’s new tech hub in the historic Thompson Center building.
