$67M Refinancing Secured by JLL for Seniors Housing Property in Kansas
JLL arranged a $66.875 million refinancing for The Fieldston, a 209-unit luxury active adult multifamily community in Fairway, Kansas.
JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, a partnership between EPC Real Estate Group and Platform Ventures, to secure the five-year construction take-out loan. The JLL Capital Markets Debt Advisory team representing the borrower was led by Managing Director Mark Erland, Senior Director Kevin Baron and Associate Ellie Savage.
Completed in 2025, The Fieldston spans 4.64 acres at 4210 Shawnee Mission Parkway and is uniquely positioned as the only luxury active-adult community serving the North Johnson County submarket. Units are available in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts.
“With 28% of the population within a three-mile radius of Fieldston over 55 years old and no other Class A active adult properties within the same radius, this luxury property taps into an affluent, underserved market segment, promising strong demand and sustained occupancy,” said Erland.
