$64M Secures Newly Constructed Distribution Center in Winston-Salem
Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of Union Cross Distribution Center, a newly constructed 610,000-square-foot cross-dock logistics facility at 4051 Wallburg Road in Winston-Salem. The final sale price was $64 million, equating to $105 per square foot.
Rob Cochran, Nolan Ashton, Bill Harrison, Stewart Calhoun, Casey Masters, Bobby Finch, Jason Ofsanko and Hap Royster of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller in the transaction. The fully leased real estate property was developed and sold by Front Street Capital and acquired by Galaxy Investments LLC/Halle Acquisitions.
“This facility is in the heart of Winston-Salem’s Southeast Forsyth submarket, which has had strong tenant demand, minimal new supply, and is accessible to 6.2 million residents within a 100-mile radius,” said Cochran. Features of facility include 40-foot clear heights, cross-dock loading, LED lighting, concrete tilt-wall construction and exceptional access to the Triad’s major transportation arteries along with the Piedmont Triad International Airport.
