630-Unit MF Development Moves Forward in Downtown San Jose
Miro, by Bayview Development Group, a two-building residential development containing 630 units, is moving forward in downtown San Jose . The striking high-rise project, encompassing a pair of 28 story towers, promises to dramatically reshape San Jose’s skyline, since they would be its tallest towers.
The development is also planned to offer 18,000 square feet of commercial space, envisioned for a sit-down restaurant, coffee shop and other retailers. The site on East Santa Clara Street, at North Fourth and North Fifth streets, is across the street from San Jose City Hall.
One of the Miro towers is slated to contain 326 units, and the other tower will contain 304 residences. The San Jose-based developer anticipates construction work commencing within the next few weeks. The project is slated for completion in 2020.
