6100 Cunningham Trades in Sale/Leaseback Deal
KMEC Engineering & Conveying Systems LLC ended its hold on 89,914 square feet, selling its building at 6100 Cunningham Rd. to United Equities Inc. KEMC, which manufactures and distributes bulk material handling systems, then signed a lease for the industrial square footage on Houston’s northwest side.
Travis Land and Michael Keegan with NAI Partners represented the seller in the transaction. The sales price was undisclosed, with the Harris Central Appraisal District valuing the five-building asset at $3.2 million. The property’s buildings delivered from 1975-2009.
KMEC, formerly known as Kinder Morgan Engineering & Conveying, owned the asset since 2009. The company was acquired in April 2017 by Dallas-based Purvis Industries.
