
600,000 Square Foot Tech Park Okayed for Denver-Area Town
The Broomfield City Council recently granted approval to St. John Properties to kick off development activities on Simms Technology Park. The nearly 81-acre mixed-use business community will include single story, multi-story and flex R&D space. St. John plans to invest $95 million into the project, which will be located about 20 miles northwest of Denver.
Grading and infrastructure site work is expected to begin this summer, followed by the launch of Phase I development soon after.
The project will have three single story office building comprising about 100,000 square feet and two flex/R&D building about 70,000 square feet apiece. Bids will also go out for pads for restaurants, convenience store/gas station and fast food. Phase I is expected to be delivered in summer of 2023.
