$5M Renovation Planned for Albuquerque’s Hotel Cascada
Albuquerque, NM’s Hotel Cascada is slated for a renovation, and will operate under a new flag. Specifically, the 300-room hotel and water park will undergo a $5 million upgrade to its lobby, meeting and guest rooms, while taking on the name of Wyndham Hotel & Conference Center this summer.
The 45-year-old hotel, situated on 11 acres at 2500 Carlisle N.E., will undergo a total of three phases of renovation, according to Albuquerque-headquartered Peak Management, which is overseeing the process. Additional phases will focus on improvements to the waterpark and other areas of the property.
Bridge Investment Group acquired the property through auction last year. The property underwent a previous rebranding and $5 million renovation in 2013.
