55K-SF Trade School Relocating to Baltimore

North American Trade Schools (NATS) has chosen Northwest Plaza in Baltimore City for its new facility, where it will provide classroom education and hands-on training in various trade programs.

The school has leased 55,000 square feet at the shopping center, marking the largest retail lease in Baltimore City in 2023. The move from Security Square Mall in Baltimore County is expected to be completed next spring.

NATS offers education in areas such as air conditioning, electrical, heating, refrigeration, and welding, with job placement services. Northwest Plaza is now 97% leased, with other tenants including Harvest Fare Supermarket, Roses, Advanced Auto Parts, and more. MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services represented the tenant with a team led by Andrew Meeder and Mike Ruocco. Patricia Palumbo and Paul Weinberg of Klein Enterprises represented the landlord in this transaction.
