$550M St. Louis Hospital Breaking Ground

SSM Health is breaking ground this week on a $550-million SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital and ambulatory care center. The new hospital, located on a 15-acre site South Grand, is expected to deliver in September 2020.

Hospital executives gathered to commemorate the occasion with city officials, including St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson, U.S. Rep. Lacy Clay, Missouri Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, and Missouri Rep. Michael Butler.

The facility includes more than 800,000 square feet of space, and 316 private rooms. It is adjacent to the current hospital and includes a nine-story patient tower and a three-story ambulatory care center. They are connected by a common space that includes a cafeteria, gift shop and chapel.

He’s successfully worked with journalists across the globe representing clients involved in major-breaking news stories, product launches, media tours, and company news announcements.
