540-Foot Mixed-Use Tower OK’d in Tampa
The TLR Group received an approval from the local aviation authority to build a 43-story building three miles from a local Tampa airport. The tower will include a mix of multifamily, office, retail and restaurants.
The planned tower will have 480 apartments, 68,000 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant space. The tower will offer studios and one-and-two-bedroom units.
An existing 100-year-old 12-story building will be demolished to make way for the project. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports TLR acquired the old building in April 2021 for approximately $20.06 million. The one-acre site is on Ashley Drive.

TLR has 16 other rental properties throughout Tampa Bay, including properties in Clearwater and Brandon.
