53-Story Hudson Yards District Tower Launched
The Moinian Group broke ground on the 53-story, two-million-square-foot 3 Hudson Boulevard office tower located in the heart of the Hudson Yards District. New York State Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, developer Joseph Moinian and other real estate and construction executives commemorated the construction milestone on a tower slated to deliver by 2021.
Designed by the prominent architect Dan Kaplan of FXFOWLE, and set to occupy the entire square block between 11th Avenue and Hudson Boulevard Park from West 34th Street to West 35th Street, 3 Hudson Boulevard’s foundation sits on the densest bedrock in Manhattan, requiring no platform.
The commercial real estate property is positioned to anchor the emerging Hudson Yards District, and help revitalize Manhattan’s West Side. The tower’s lithe form soars more than 900 feet, and provides unobstructed, 360 degree views of the Hudson River, Hudson River Park, the High Line, Central Park, and the Empire State Building.
