52-Story Ultra-Lux Ritz-Carlton Residences Breaks Ground

Ritz-Carlton Residences, Sunny Isles Beach, a 52-story oceanfront tower that is setting record sales prices in Miami, broke ground this week. The luxury condominium project, slated for completion in 2018, is being developed by Miami’s Fortune International Group and Hallandale Beach, FL-based Château Group.

The developer says 65% of its units are under contract, including three of five penthouses. Among the early deals are a $21 million sale of a 7,735-square-foot, full-floor penthouse that combines two units on the 51st floor, as well as a $16.5-million deal, completed in May, for the top-floor penthouse.

Designed by Arquitectonica, units range up to 3,640 square feet and start at $2.5 million. Among the more exclusive amenities at the 2.2-acre site are a private club on the 33rd floor, personal chef services and a beachfront restaurant.
