50’s Era Phoenix Hotel to Get Modern Touch

EV Hotel Group is planning to open one of its first automated, technology-focused hotels in downtown Phoenix. The new multi-story hotel will be developed on the northwest corner of 6th Avenue and Van Buren Street, where the City Center Motel buildings were developed in the 1950s and have remained since. The EV group decided to renovate instead of demolish and rebuild.

Part of the experience for its guest and visitors will include digital assets such as crypto payments and NFT sales. Additionally, guests will be able to control more than 15 IoT devices in the guestrooms via a mobile app.

“This innovative hotel brand will deliver more than just crypto payments, as it will include everything crypto related and technology like never seen before in the Industry,” said EV Hotel’s Ken Patel. “EV Hotel is focused on reinventing hospitality and distance itself from the traditional tactics of the industry.”
