$500M MXU Development Unveiled on Houston’s Buffalo Bayou
Houston-based DC Partners and China’s Tianqing Real Estate Development unveiled the design vision for a planned $500-million, high-end, multi-use development in the heart of Houston’s Allen Parkway corridor. Phase one includes a luxury 180-room hotel and condominium tower, retail pavilion, and 200,000-square-foot office building with views of downtown and the Houston skyline.
DC Partners’ Roberto Contreras says the innovative urban live, work and play environment will introduce a “bold concept” that blends architecture previously not seen in Houston with lush green space. The six-acre site is located at the southeast corner of Allen Parkway and Gillette Street, across the street from Buffalo Bayou Park.
Transwestern’s Nick Hernandez and Crystal Allen are handling the retail leasing. Stream Realty Partners’ Paul Coonrod and Craig McKenna are handling the office assignment. The project was designed by HOK.
