5 Star Nutrition Opening on 11 U.S. Military Bases

Austin-headquartered 5 Star Nutrition is launching 11 new military base Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES) locations. The move follows its 2015 opening at Fort Bliss’ Freedom Crossing. 5 Star Nutrition provides health and wellness products in 38 retail locations – both on and off military bases – throughout the United States.

According to 5 Star Nutrition’s CEO Brian Marver, approximately 20% of the company’s employees consist of veterans, while military members are honored with discounts and other benefits. “Opening these Exchange locations and further aligning with the military is very important for our brand and customers, and is personally important to me and my team,” Marver added. “My older brother, grandfather and uncle were all in the military, and I have a deep, profound respect for those who serve.”
