488-Bed Property Under New Management
Campus Advantage of Austin assumed management of the 488-bed Reserve at West Avenue, an off-campus, student housing property serving Texas State University in San Marcos. The property at 109 West Ave. was recently acquired from Asset Plus Cos. by a San Francisco buyer.
Campus Advantage plans to incorporate new programs as part of its program. The company also will partner with Catalyst, an Austin-based marketing agency, with an eye toward rebranding the asset with a new name, logo, website and marketing materials.
“After assessing the property, our consulting and operations teams agree partnering with a strong student housing operator will not only help further enhance The Reserve at West Avenue’s already-established positive reputation in the market, but also provide a successful turn and move-in experience for students,” said Pam West, vice president of operations at Campus Advantage.
