480 Acres of Freeway Frontage Land Up for Sale in Williams, AZ

A 480-acre land parcel in Williams, AZ is on the market after the developer of a proposed theme park backed out of buying the property 32 miles west of Flagstaff. The land owner, Max Biegert, enlisted Cushman & Wakefield’s Brent Moser and Michael Sutton to sell the property.

The site on Interstate 40 offers more than a mile of freeway frontage, as well as views of Bill Williams Mountain and access to Route 66. The submarket continues to be a catalyst for travelers seeking entertainment in the Western U.S., with attractions such as Bearizona and the Grand Canyon.

Biegert, who bought and revived the Grand Canyon Railway between Williams and the Grand Canyon, had been in discussions with Michigan-based Granger Group to buy the Northern Arizona property.

Moser says, “Biegert recently contacted us to list the property after The Granger Group, who previously proposed a theme park, decided to cancel a several-year option they had obtained on the property.”
