44 Acres in Metro Atlanta Slated for 600K-SF Spec Industrial Development

McCraney Property Company acquired more than 44 acres on Georgia State Route 13 in Buford, GA from Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. The West Palm Beach, FL-based company plans to develop 985 Lanier Logistics, a 612,572-square-foot speculative industrial park.

Located along the Atlanta Highway at Lanier Islands Parkway, 985 Lanier Logistics provides access to Interstate 985 and Interstate 85. The property will be comprised of three Class A industrial buildings, ranging in size from 167,080 to 236,240 square feet.

The company plans to break ground in mid-April and deliver a park with clean facades and high-finish, benchmark-setting warehouse design. That includes 30 to 32-foot clear height, 38 to 42 dock high doors, and a total of 160 tractor-trailer stalls. The park’s design targets freight forwarders, 3PL’s, and fulfillment occupiers.

The project brings the firm’s active speculative industrial development activity in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina to more than 6.6 million square feet.
