420-Unit Assisted Living Facility Planned in Temecula

Carlsbad, CA-based WESTLiving plans to develop a 420-unit assisted living complex in Temecula, CA. The more than 500,000-square-foot facility will be built on a vacant lot at the southeast corner of Date Street and Ynez Road

The project received unanimous approved last week by the city’s Planning Commission. Envisioned to be developed in phases, the facility is planned to include such amenities as a sports bar, theater, wine bar and bocce ball court.

The two-story 122,000-square-foot north building is slated to be built first, and will include 88 assisted living and 32 memory care units, as well as activity rooms, living rooms, game rooms, libraries, artist studio, fitness room, salon, theater and dining rooms.

The 390,000-square-foot south building will house 300 independent living units, and include a diverse array of dining offerings, formal sit down dining areas, grab-n-go” spots, a sports bar, wine bar and outdoor activities.
