41 Acres of South Dallas Land Swaps Hands

Dallas South 48 JV, a group of private investors, has sold 40.7 acres of raw land to Houston investor William Young. The land is at 10407 S. Central Expwy., where Interstates 45 and 20 converge just south of downtown Dallas.

The seller is the heir to an investment group formed in 1986. “The original investors have passed on . . . one of the heirs took the lead in late 2015 to sell it because they were tired of paying taxes on it,” said Wayne Burgdorf with Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors. Burgdorf, who represented the seller in the transaction, said the listing attracted an immediate offer. Suzanne Haselberger of Realty Associates in Houston represented Young in the transaction.
