400-Acre Hyperscale Data Center Coming to Alliance

T5 Data Centers of Atlanta, GA is partnering with Fort Worth-based developer Hillwood to build a data center campus within the 18,000-acre, mixed-use, master-planned community, AllianceTexas. The T5@Alliance data center campus will be situated on 350-400 acres, with an eventual delivery of 400+ megawatts of dedicated critical power. IPI Data Center Partners Management LLC is backing the data center, which will be in north Fort Worth.

Redundancies, massive pad sites and in-place critical infrastructure (which includes water facilities and in-place power sources from Brazos Electric Power Cooperative and Oncor) are several reasons why AllianceTexas provided a good location for the T5@Alliance data center, according to Hillwood’s Reid Goetz. “Redundancy, the presence of multiple fiber providers, access to an ample volume of water and the region’s moderate weather all help ensure reliable, uninterrupted service of data centers at AllianceTexas,” he added.
