3PL Provider NFI Will Expand Southern Dallas Logistics Hub

Camden, NJ-based NFI Industries filed plans for a 595,044-square-foot expansion of its distribution hub on Bonnie View Road in southern Dallas, the Dallas Morning News reported. The expansion follows the third-party logistics provider’s lease of 262,000 square feet at 9890 Bonnie View Rd. to Ocean Spray this summer.

Construction on the expansion will start next month, with completion expected in mid-2021, according to the newspaper. Richardson-based Alliance Architects is designing the project.

NFI has operations across the country, including several locations in North Texas.

The company has been in business since the 1930s and operates more than 50 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space across the U.S. and Canada.

NFI’s planned project is the latest industrial development in the works for southern Dallas County. North Texas ranks among the country’s top distribution markets, with more than 30 million square feet of warehouses currently under construction.
