3D Hubs Will Make Chicago Its North American Hub

Automated manufacturing platform 3D Hubs, whose products are used by more than 20,000 businesses worldwide, will locate its North American headquarters in Chicago. The Amsterdam-based company’s offices will be located at mHUB in West Town.

“Chicago has long been a central hub of American manufacturing and continues to lead the way in innovation,” said 3D Hubs CEO Bram de Zwart. “This hard-working, forward-looking city is the perfect place for 3D Hubs to grow our on-demand manufacturing platform.”

Added Andrea Zopp, president and CEO of World Business Chicago, “3D Hubs’ decision to locate their North American headquarters in Chicago speaks to the city’s status as a global tech hub and a leader in manufacturing.”

The mHub headquarters at 965 W. Chicago Ave. is planned for a June opening. 3D Hubs will be centralizing its U.S.-based workforce in Chicago, and the company plans to double its headquarters team by year’s end.
