3980 Wilshire Secures LA Planning Commission Blessing
A proposed seven-story, 222,000 square-foot residential project is headed for LA city council review now that it passed planning commission scrutiny. Los Angeles-based Jamison Services’ plan for 3980 Wilshire Blvd. received approvals for zone changes, MND, building line removal and a site plan that includes a 6% open space reduction and transitional heights.
Designed by the Los Angeles office of Irvine, CA-based KTGY Architecture + Planning, 3980 Wilshire Blvd. includes 205,000 square feet of residential and 17,000 square feet of street-level retail. The up to 105-foot tall project includes roughly 25,000 square feet of open space encompassing balconies, pool deck, courtyard, roof deck with an adjacent recreation room and fitness studio overlooking the pool.
In addition to three subterranean parking levels, 3980 Wilshire also provides 267 bike parking spaces at the 45,800-square-foot lot.
