Three companies signed leases totaling 36,000 square feet of space 437 Madison Ave., a 40-story office tower in the Midtown East area of Manhattan.

“Over the last two years, we have transformed 437 Madison Avenue into one of Midtown East’s leading destinations for law firms, financial companies and media tenants,” said Michael Lenchner, vice president and director of leasing at Sage Realty Corporation, the leasing and management division of the William Kaufman Organization, owner of the building.

The leases include Munich American Reassurance Company for 18,650 square feet, and Eos Management for 9,576 square feet. Also Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads renewed and expanded, adding 7,458 square feet.

Asking rents in the 850,000-square-foot building range from $80 to $110 per square foot.
