$364M Angel Stadium Project Moves Forward

A mixed-use complex known as Jefferson Stadium Park, located across the street from Angel Stadium, is moving closer to reality following JPI’s second investment in the Platinum Triangle. The $364-million project, by Texas-based developer JPI, reportedly includes 1,079 apartments, nearly 10,000-square-feet of commercial space, and a 1.1-acre park.

Sources say the Anaheim Planning Commission is considering a proposal for the 17.6-acre site on the southwest corner of State College Boulevard and Gene Autry Way. If approved, the complex’s first of three phases could open in 2018.

Public records show that JPI acquired the vacant property from Prologis for $42.25 million.  JPI paid $24 million for 7.6 acres at another site near Katella Ave. and State College, in December 2014.
