$350M JW Marriott Planned Near Disney World’s Epcot

West Palm Beach, FL-based DCS Investments plans to build a $350-million JW Marriott hotel in Orlando. The developer envisions a 516-room, 16-story property with 50,000 square feet of meeting space, a rooftop bar and signature restaurant on a 10.6-acre site near Disney World’s Epcot.

The developer has received $240 million in backing from the Bank of the Ozarks. Kimley Horn filed an application for the project on behalf of DCS that indicates the hotel will be named JW Marriott at Bonnet Creek. The site is on Chelonia Parkway, near Epcot Center Drive and Interstate 4.

If approved, the property would be the second JW Marriott property in the market, joining the 1,000-room JW Marriott Grande Lakes, which is one of the largest hotels in the Orlando area.

DCS developed and owns the upscale Bella Collina golf resort development near Clermont.
