350K-SF Industrial on Tap for Brooks City Base

Industrial Group Southwest (IGX) will build and lease the first building of the proposed Brooks Business Park, a 350,000-square-foot building geared for light industrial use. The development will be on 20 acres at Goliad Road near City Base Landing in Brooks City Base, TX, south of San Antonio. Construction is planned to launch in spring 2017.

At full buildout, Brooks Business Park will offer six building sites, ranging from 30,000 to 600,000 square feet, and situated from three acres to 45 acres. The announcement came a few months after Nisse Plastic Industrial Co. Ltd. acquired nine acres at Brooks for an injection molding press manufacturing operation.

“We think this site will offer attractive amenities to future tenants and employees, including access to major highways, close proximity to downtown, as well as nearby shopping, dining and recreation opportunities,” said Ron Mills, president of IGX.
