336-Unit Avocet Apartments Sells for $52M

Benimax Investment Group acquired Avocet Apartments, a 336-unit complex situated on San Antonio’s west side. The Atlanta, GA buyer paid seller StoneRiver Co. LLC $51.7 million for the property at 11340 Alamo Ranch Pkwy.

Taylor Brown, Steve Mack and Bo Brown, with Greystone Brown Real Estate Advisors, represented the seller and sourced the buyer. Benimax is led by Chinese executives, and receives much of its financing from Chinese investors. During June 2018, the company acquired Ridgeline at Rogers Ranch on the north side of San Antonio.

Avocet Apartments opened in 2017, and offers one, two and three-bedroom units. On-site amenities include a clubhouse, pool fitness and business centers, coffee bar, car care center, dog park and covered parking.
