$32M Reno Complete at Palo Alto Affordable MF
Palo Alto Housing (PAH) completed the $31.9-million renovation of Colorado Park Apartments, an affordable community in Palo Alto, CA. The project reflects the Bay Area’s housing situation with a currently-closed wait list of 486 names that is estimated will take five to seven years to work through.
PAH’s Candice Gonzalez says, “Colorado Park Apartments is a wonderful example of affordable housing preservation and modernization. Through high-quality design and construction, we were able to significantly update the buildings and enhance the quality of life of our residents here.”
The seven-building, 60-unit garden walk-up complex originally was constructed in 1972 by PAH, and is located at 1141 Colorado Ave. The property is the oldest in PAH’s portfolio, and has a diverse unit mix with eight one-bedroom, 24 two-bedroom, 22 three-bedroom, and six four-bedroom apartments.
