Houston-based MetroNational will be breaking ground in March 2017 on an 8-floor, 327-unit luxury midrise apartment complex at Barryknoll Lane and Memorial City Way in west Houston. The as-yet unnamed Memorial City project is scheduled for a summer 2019 opening.

The complex will offer a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 555 to 1,706 square feet. On-site amenities will include a club room, resident lounge, game room, fitness center, a rooftop pet park and pet wash, and gathering spaces.

Slate Real Estate Partners will assist in developing the residential project. Ziefler Cooper Architects Residential is the designer of record. “This project is in response to the long-term demand for luxury residences in the Memorial City area,” said Jason Johnson, MetroNational president and vice chairman.
