320-Acre Legacy Sports Park Planned in Mesa

A privately owned 320-acre multi-use family sports and entertainment complex is planned in Mesa. Legacy Sports Park is being developed by Arizona-based Legacy Cares, Inc. and Legacy Sports USA to encompass a variety of playing fields and indoor team sports facilities designed with the latest in athletic technologies for athletes of all ages and levels of proficiency.

Legacy Sports USA’s Randy J. Miller says, “This project is the culmination of years of perseverance and planning. We have brought together a world-class team in order to bring this dream to fruition.”

Olympic Gold Medalist Dan O’Brien serves as Legacy Park’s Director of Performance Training and the Oak View Group will operate the facility. Legacy Park will also have dining options, athletic apparel shops, as well as venues for concerts and various artistic events.

The site at Ellsworth and Pecos roads is next to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport area and is set to open in January 2022. Ziegler provided $250,770,000 in financing.
