315 PAS Gets Lobby Revamp As Part of Building-Wide Renovation
Columbia Property Trust has completed a transformation of the lobby of 315 Park Ave. South, its 20-story Midtown South office building. Architecture firm Gensler and the Atlanta-based REIT reimagined the 3,000-square-foot lobby as part of a building-wide capital improvement program.
The lobby’s interior walls were clad with white glass panels and exposed columns were covered in white intumescent paint. Daylight-style lighting was embedded throughout the white ceiling, and a marble security desk was installed, along with stainless steel access gates and interior doors.
Columbia is renovating 315 Park South with L&L Holding Company, which Columbia has engaged to help lease and manage the property. Nearing completion, the renovation includes new building entries and upgrades to the retail façade, as well as a separate entrance for the new Equinox luxury fitness club. In January, Columbia signed Morningstar subsidiary PitchBook to two floors at the 334,000-square-foot property.
