3033 Wilshire Gets Started

3033 Wilshire, a residential building at that address on Wilshire Boulevard, has started construction. The developer is UDR, Inc., while the designer/architect on the project is Steinberg, a firm that has done several buildings in the Los Angeles metro area.

3033 Wilshire, which is situated between the Koreatown and Westlake neighborhoods, will have 190 market-rate apartments, as well as 5,500 square feet of retail. The apartments will range in size from studios to two-bedroom and two-bathroom dwellings.

The residential tower, which will be mostly defined by its glass exterior, is set for completion some time next year.
